Lukas Heuss

Grew up in Zurich and started playing the clarinet at age 10. At 15, he took up the saxophone. Graduated from the Musikhochschule Lucerne in the jazz department. Founding member of Clan Miller, Hot Kotz, Köpfchen & Muskeln, Bari-Tones, Who is afraid of Cannonball-Flight, Lonely Horns, etc. Performances with various big bands: Zurich Jazz Orchestra, M-Streule BigBand, and also with Trio Tüsel. Freelance musician in the field of Jazz, Afro-, Latin, and E music. Recording session and TV appearances with Clan Miller, Köpfchen, Baby Jail, Michael von der Heide, Schlagart, Tanzmarathon, CD with Bari-Tones on Red-Note/Jecklin. Tours and CD with Circus McGurkus. For the past few years «back to the roots» with the Swiss-Russian quartet TOTSCHNA.
