Association

Under the name «Zurich Jazz Orchestra» (ZJO) exists an association in the sense of Art. 60 ff. ZGB with its registered office in Zurich.

The purpose of the association ZJO is the promotion of Zurich big band music, contemporary big band music and the communication of contemporary jazz to a broad public.

Furthermore, the association ZJO aims at organizing the concert activities of the orchestra (ZJO) in Switzerland and abroad. The ZJO is a professional jazz band of 18 musicians.

The organization of the performances is entrusted to an external management. The task of promotion and mediation is the task of the association.
