Zurich Jazz Talks #1 (German)

The jazz podcast with the Zurich Jazz Orchestra: guests, music, stories, relevance and also a bit of palaver. Today with Steffen Schorn.

Steffen is Artist in Residence of the Zurich Jazz Orchestra, saxophonist and composer. The conversation took place on the occasion of a rehearsal for the CD program “DEDICATIONS”. The new album “TO MY BELOVED ONES” was released on March 18, 2022.

“My new role as composer-in-residence now gives me the opportunity to take a step back and dive deeper into the inner world of emotions, memories and feelings and write brand new compositions as well as pull older pieces out of the treasure chest and create new, tailor-made orchestrations for the ZJO,” says Steffen Schorn.
