We will play the concert of 20 November in the lecture hall of the Kunsthaus Zürich. The Musikklub Mehrspur is closed at the moment. For the rehearsals we have found shelter at the Miller’s. We would like to thank these two institutions for their support.
Their safety and the safety of our musicians are very important to us. For this reason, every precaution will be taken on 20 November in the lecture hall of the Kunsthaus so that you can enjoy the concert without any worries. The number of seats is limited to 50 persons. Your seats will be assigned to you on site. The necessary distances can be maintained. Nevertheless, masks will also be worn at the concert at the Kunsthaus.
The concert begins at 20.30 hrs. We play a long set without a break. In addition to new arrangements by Pius Baschnagel, Theo Kapilidis and Daniel Schenker from the series “Inner Voices”, we will play a program for you to enjoy and let your soul dangle with Brazilian rhythms by Nelson Faria, as well as highlights from classics like Bill Holman and Sammy Nestico and others. The ZHdK-volunteer and alto saxophonist Michael Leber will be part of the program. You can look forward – proven big band classics with a good pinch of ZJO await you.
It is important to us not to simply give up in these challenging times, but to keep Zurich’s culture alive. We ask you: Please help us to do so. Reserve your tickets so that we know that we can count on you. We assume that you are as much looking forward to this as we are, that together we can regain a bit of normality.
We are looking forward to you!
And we thank you for your solidarity.
