The time has come!
It’s done!

Zurich has a jazz house. As of now. It is located at Heinrichstrasse 69 in Kreis 5 and is the working and meeting place of the Zurich Jazz Orchestra.

All of the Zurich Jazz Orchestra’s rehearsals and its compositional and administrative work now take place in the former craftsman’s workshop at Heinrichstrasse 69. Thanks to appropriate renovations, the Jazzhaus now has a two-storey rehearsal room, two smaller music rooms, recording facilities and a further room that serves as an office and meeting place. The premises can also be rented by other musicians, ensembles, bands and productions outside of rehearsals. The Jazzhaus was developed jointly by the ZJO and the Dr. Stephan à Porta Foundation.

But first of all, we would like to toast with you to the completion of the work and a successful future. Come along on Sunday, April 21, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. – the team of architects will be on site, as will the big band. And drinks will also be provided.
